Rubicon Bridge is a fast-growing SaaS provider to the consumer healthcare industry.
A major partner of Amazon and Santander, they specialise in helping brands looking to sell globally become compliant with European regulatory requirements.
Role:
This role is responsible for analysing legal regulations and trade body guidelines related to food products and translating them into a structured format for a bespoke compliance application.
What is a day in the life of a Food Regulatory Data Analyst?
- Analyse and interpret legal regulations and trade body guidelines related to food ingredients. (Working knowledge of law preferred)
- Translate regulations from various languages using tools like AWS Translate. (Multilingual skills required)
- Extract and match information on approved food ingredients with existing data in the application. (Attention to detail and data handling skills essential)
- Identify substance upper levels, restrictions, and associated warnings for packaging.
- Utilize basic SQL queries to retrieve data from the application’s Postgres database. (Familiarity with databases preferred)
- Maintain meticulous data accuracy and identify potential errors in source regulations. (Strong understanding of language construction crucial)
- (Bonus) Leverage web-scraping techniques for efficient data collection.
- (Bonus) Possess knowledge of the food industry for deeper context.
What will I need to thrive in this role?
- Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud translation tools (AWS Translate etc.)

Pay: £25,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
