As a major partner of Amazon and Santander, we specialize in helping brands looking to sell globally become compliant with European regulatory requirements. Our flagship product, The Reg Tech Tool®, is revolutionizing regulatory compliance for the healthcare industry.
We are now seeking a motivated, ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the RegTech sector.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the growth of Rubicon Bridge’s Reg Tech Tool across the UK, Europe, and the USA, ensuring consistent market expansion and penetration.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), contributing to the overall growth and success of Rubicon Bridge.
- Collaborate with the CRO, Marketing and Lead generation teams to manage full-cycle outbound business development efforts, creating momentum within our target markets.
- Manage qualified leads, through the entire sales process—this includes conducting software demonstrations, managing trials, and issuing proposals to close deals efficiently.
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, product, delivery, marketing, and customer success to address client concerns and ensure successful sales outcomes.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the accounts you’ve successfully acquired, maximizing value for both the client and Rubicon Bridge.
- Leverage your expertise to suggest improvements in sales processes, provide insights during monthly reviews, and offer constructive feedback to various teams to enhance client outcomes and internal collaboration
- Maintain detailed records of business development activities, client interactions, and the sales pipeline using CRM software.
Requirements and Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in business development, sales, or account management within the SaaS or RegTech industry
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with the drive to consistently push for higher performance and outcomes.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape, particularly in industries such as finance, healthcare, or legal
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with clients and internal teams to build strong, long-lasting partnerships
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive) and other sales tools.
- Competent in using data to inform decisions, with strong research skills to identify market trends, optimize sales strategies, and support customer insights.
