Who We Are

Rubicon Bridge is an innovative SaaS software provider specialising in providing regulatory compliance to the consumer healthcare industry. We work with the providers of medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, foods, and food supplements to streamline their journey to market by making their products packaging legally compliant. Located in the C4DI building in Hull, we are a part of the exciting tech and innovation hub which is growing within the city.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced mid-level software engineer to join our product engineering team. Working on our Bridge platform as a full stack developer, you will be part of a team implementing new features requested by stakeholders, working alongside other team members to see your projects through from concept to delivery. You will be working in a modern and supportive environment, using new technologies, learning new skills, and have the support of highly skilled engineers with years of industry experience.

About You

You are either degree educated in a computer science discipline, or have completed a coding bootcamp with at least 4 years’ experience writing software in a commercial environment. You will have knowledge of architectural design principles, and be familiar with basic cloud infrastructure, with prior experience of at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). You are well experienced with various development methodologies, with hands-on experience of Agile through software such as DevOps or Jira.

You understand source control, CI/CD deployment, and have in-depth knowledge of at least one front-end programming language (e.g., HTML/JavaScript/CSS) and have a good knowledge of database programming in SQL/GQL. Being skilled in React is expected and knowledge of AI, Next.js and Elixir/Phoenix would be advantages.

Pay: £24,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
