With over two decades of experience in the regulatory and compliance sectors, James is leveraging his deep expertise to help clients overcome barriers to entering new markets.

James, who studied nutrition at the University of Wales in Cardiff, has spent his career guiding businesses through the intricate world of health food regulations. From SMEs to global corporations, his work has centered on ensuring compliance in advertising, labelling, and market entry. Before Rubicon Bridge, he served as Senior Regulatory Advisor and Head of CLEAR CHECK at the Health Food Manufacturers’ Association (HFMA), where he became a trusted authority for the UK’s health food industry.

James’s expertise in regulatory compliance – particularly in areas like health food labelling and advertising – has proven invaluable as Rubicon Bridge continues to grow. He has been instrumental in helping clients use the company’s innovative tools to streamline compliance checks and labelling processes, reducing the time and complexity associated with launching products in new geographies.

Raised near Swansea in Wales, James brings both a personal passion for health and a professional dedication to improving industry practices. His collaborative approach and wealth of knowledge have already made him an integral part of Rubicon Bridge’s mission to empower businesses to thrive on a global stage.

Outside of work, James enjoys being out in nature and spends much of his spare time exploring the Welsh Coastal Path with his German Shepherd. As well as this, he channels his artistic side into making sculptures and abstract art. Whether he’s roaming the hills or working in his studio, James brings the same thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to his hobbies that he does to his professional work.
